Heparinoids are by-products formed during the production of heparin. They exhibit similar effects to heparin but have a different molecular structure. Heparinoids are anticoagulants—substances that inhibit blood clotting—belonging to the glycosaminoglycan group. They are extracted from bovine intestinal mucosa.
Our heparinoids are used both in the pharmaceutical industry and in laboratory settings. Topically, they are formulated into pharmaceutical creams or gels for the treatment of varicose veins, venous disorders, sports injuries, bruises, or scar care.
