Glucosamine HCI

Glucosamine is a natural amino sugar that occurs naturally in the human body. It is a component of connective tissue, cartilage, and joint fluid. Glucosamine can be used both as a pharmaceutical ingredient for degenerative joint diseases (such as osteoarthritis) and cosmetically in creams, gels, drops, or lotions. Furthermore, it is used as a dietary supplement or as a feed additive. Our glucosamine HCL is available from both animal sources (derived via deacetylation of shellfish followed by hydrochloride addition) and non-animal sources (produced by fermentation of corn starch).
